The Philips PCVC740K ToUcam Pro is another CIF camera much like the A4Tech PK-35N Driver which is also using the same driver. This is the CIF single chip driver which is also on here. The drivers are the same as the hardware is the same in different cameras.

The resolution on the camera is low and it only has a resolution of 640×480 which is low by today’s standards. The compatibility will need the driver or adapter for the operating system. Note that over time the lenses do degrade so take this into account with the older cameras.
The image quality on the camera most imes is still very good. There is no autofocus and musch like the old camera you will need to manual adjust the camera focus. The camera was well known for long focus use. Many users have used the camera as a base and to change the CCD in the camera and upgraded this at home with some technical skills.
